Bilawal In Isolation After Testing Positive For Covid-19
PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari has reportedly tested positive for Covid-19 and has self-isolated himself at his home until recovery.
“I have tested positive for #COVIDー19 & am self-isolating with mild symptoms. I‘ll continue working from home & will be addressing PPP foundation day via video link. Wear a mask everyone, see you on the other side IA,” the PPP Chairman said on his Twitter account.

Bhutto was tested positive for Covid-19 just days ahead of his sister Bakhtawar’s engagement festivities. Videos of Bakhtawar’s pre-wedding celebrations were shared on social media earlier on Thursday.
Meanwhile, it does not come as a surprise that the leader has tested positive for Covid-19 as he was participating in various rallies of the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) across the country and was also campaigning for the Gilgit-Baltistan elections as well.
The PDM rallies were already being criticised for being super-spreader events and the government had also warned the opposition parties that if they do not desist from holding rallies, it will have no choice but to announce a complete lockdown of sorts to protect the citizens.
The second wave of Covid-19 that has gathered pace in the month of November has wreaked havoc on the country as the number of daily positive cases has risen to a record high.
KP Health Minister Taimur Jhagra wished the PPP chairman well while adding that: “To everyone sitting on stage at the PDM jalsa, if in Pakhtunkhwa please call on the 1700 helpline and get yourself tested through our rapid response teams”.
“[The govt of KP] cares about everyone’s health; all tests are free of charge. Wear a mask!”
Shehbaz Sharif also offered prayers for all those who have contracted the virus, including Bilawal, a statement issued by the PMLN said.
Bilawal’s test results come on the back of PDM’s decision to hold a rally in Peshawar despite warnings from health experts.
