Samsung Begins One UI 7.0 Rollout to Latest Foldables in Canada

The One UI 7.0 update based on Android 15 is now available for Canadian Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Z Fold 6 phones from Samsung with the S24 series upgrades predicted soon. Canadian devices now have the new Z Flip 6 update with BYCJ build at its end and Z Fold 6 with BYCK build that includes April 2025 security protection.

Consumers have waited almost half a year for Android 15 updates since development started back in January. The press reports that Samsung will release the Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Z Fold 7 around July with Android 16 and One UI 8 software at launch.

What’s New in One UI 7.0

The long-awaited update introduces significant changes to Samsung’s mobile experience:

• Redesigned user interface with refined Quick Panel, notifications, and volume controls
• Now Bar functionality expanded to more Galaxy devices
• Enhanced AI features including improved Drawing Assist and Note Assist
• New AI-powered Audio Eraser in the stock editor
