Now to the two-fold assistance:
Cash transfer: Around 4 million families will be getting the cash assistance of 10,000 rupees. This will be provided for purchasing items for home consumption during Ramadan.
Commodities: The government will also subsidize items such as flour, sugar, and rice, so families can buy in more quantity with less.
Who would qualify for it?
- To be eligible for this assistance, you should:
- Be a part of the Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) or the Ehsaas Programme.
- Not receive money from any other government assistance program.
- Have a valid CNIC (your ID card).
How to apply?

Either go to the official PSER website and fill out your particulars into a form or just text your CNIC number and send it to 8070.
Payment methods:
The government is very much interested in ensuring that benefits reach all, in the quickest possible time; therefore, they have worked on various distributions.
They would either go directly to your bank account.
You would use mobile network operators for such deliveries, such as Easypaisa or JazzCash.
If this is not possible, the payments would be made through special Ehsaas Centers or your local Union Council offices.
