Miss Pakistan Noor Xarmina In bridal attire at Miss Universe 2024

As Pakistan’s Miss Universe candidate for the year 2024, 29-year-old Noor Xarmina performed during the preliminary round held in Mexico. The woman, who hails from Islamabad and has degrees in business and biology, chose to represent the heritage of Pakistan and stunningly wore a traditional bridal dress with maximum embroidery, which also brought her excellent approval to her choice.

From Islamabad To International Level

The competition to become a Miss Universe has not been an easy ride for Xarmina. When asked in interview with Geo she also confessed her nervousness mainly because of last year scandal when different organizations raised their objections and government stopped supporting the pageant representation of the country through Erica Robin. However due to these challenges, Xarmina did not lose her purpose of putting forward the positive side of Pakistan to the world.

Business and biology academic background together with modeling has placed her as a diverse representative. The first challenge took place on Thursday and was an important step in her quest to become Miss Universe; the final event will be held on November 16.

Cultural Pride Will Be Our Theme

What is a true challenge for Xarmina is not a sash but being Pakistani; in other words, the chosen country means cultural identity. She however has links to Pakistan and she loves to flaunt this aspect of her life. Her genuine interest in Pakistani culture is evident in her love for Urdu and her knowledge of Punjabi music from the 80s when Pakistan was still making music. When she says she is a desi girl at heart she means it.

As the beauty queen has lighter acting skills and also dreams of acting she still remains the cultural symbol. Her participation was a very important moment for Pakistan in the international contest which can pave the way for many females of Pakistan in the international beauty shows.
