khalilur rehman qamar responds to explicit leaked video
Khalil ur Rehman Qamar, a renowned drama and film writer is making headlines for allegedly being kidnapped by a gang in Lahore, Pakistan. According to some sources, Qamar was extorted for money and filed an FIR against the gang before sharing his side of the story publicly. The alleged kidnapper has accused Qamar of lying, claiming they possess indecent videos of him with a woman by the name Aamna Arooj.
Yesterday the video was leaked online where both Qamar and Arooj featured. It went viral and was condemned by the public. In response Khalil came out with his side of the story in an interview with journalist Muneezay Moeen. Recounting what exactly happened, he said he was held at gunpoint by two individuals who recorded him with the woman. He claimed that the woman, an active member of the gang, willingly participated in the plot. The kidnappers forced Qamar to remove his shirt and engage in an intimate act with the woman for the recording. Although this was the case, due to severe depression, he was unable to comply fully and the kidnappers had to leave him without further coercion.
After coming back, he delayed the filing of the First Information Report for five days due to the trauma. He had informed the police about the video, but they omitted it from the report so that his reputation was not questioned. Qamar emphasised that he had taken a stand for all men who had faced similar situations.
