DRAP Greenlights Registration of Critical Medicines for Swift Availability

In a significant move towards enhancing the availability of life-saving medicines the Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan (DRAP) has expedited the Registration Process following directives from Caretaker Federal Minister for Health, Dr Nadeem Jan.

Responding to the urgent need for critical medications, Dr. Nadeem Jan instructed the immediate Registration of essential drugs emphasizing the importance of improving their Supply Chain. The DRAP Promptly approved several cases for Registration on a Priority basis with a focus on medications vital for Diabetes and anticancer treatments.

The latest approvals from DRAP include the Registration of anesthesia injections and anti-cancer Drugs. Additionally the authority Gave the Green light for the import and local Manufacturing of anti-cancer drugs Contributing to the accessibility of these Crucial medications in the Market.

Moreover, the Registration board approved influenza vaccines, heparin, enoxaparin injections, and the novel anti-diabetic drug Semaglutide injection. Dr. Nadeem Jan Highlighted that these approvals mark a Significant step towards Enhancing the availability of anti-cancer, diabetes and other life-Saving drugs.
