Pakistan and India match is scheduled for October-November in ICC 50-over World Cup. No doubt, it is one of the most awaited match of the year and fans from all around the world are waiting for it.
Board of Cricket Council, India decided the venue for match, anticipating a large number of fans from abroad are also coming to witness the live moments of Cricket. They set the Narendra Modi Stadium as match venue with seating capacity of 1 Lakh.

The World Cup schedule will be ablnnounced after Indian Premier League is over, the tournament is expected to be started from October 5, and venues are Nagpur, Bengaluru, Mumbai, Delhi, Lucknow, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Rajkot, Indore and Dharamshala, for practice matches also.
Slow Pitches and Fixture allotments
Indian Cricket team also requested BCCI to allot fixtures for Australia, New Zealand, England and South Africa to aid spinners. They also want slow pitches to maximize the benefits of home ground.
The BCCI fixed 500 crores to upgrade stadiums for upcoming 50-over World Cup in India. Jay Shah, Secretary of BCCI said that, infrastructure with clean tiolets, easy access and clean seats are the top priorities while upgrading the stadiums.
Due to security reasons, Pakistani Cricket team will play most of its matches in Chennai and Bengaluru, Eden Garden in Kolkata is also being considered as good venue for Pakistan’s matches.

The BCCI is trying to schedule matches before the first week of November as it is the start of moonsoon season also. India will play its match against Australia in Chennai and New Zealand, England and South Africa matches will be played in other centres.
