WhatsApp is a giant messaging app which keeps on introducing new features to make the app more exciting and interacting for its users. The app is now releasing a new voice message transcription feature and it is available for some beta testing.
The feature is available for testing after installing the latest WhatsApp beta for iOS 23.9.0.70 update. The update is available on TestFlight app through which users can test and check the new feature.

Voice Message Transcripts
The feature is enabled by default but users can also diasble it from settings>chats>voice message transcripts. The feature is also working with end-to-end encryption as mostly the transcription packages are available by using language packs.
The feature is right now only available for some new updated iOS devices as it uses the latest APIs by iOS 16 only. It allows the app to process voice message on user’s device without any need to transfer message to any external server.

The new transcription feature also allows users to search for information sent within the text message. The exciting feature will be available for other users over the coming weeks.
