Meeting chaired by Prime Minister Shahbaz Shareef and members of Federal Cabinet approved the Lawyer Protection Bill 2023, saying that Lawyers play a key role in constitutional evolution of country.
The Federal Cabinet also approved the protection of customers’ deposits during the winding process. He said that all the bank customers would be paid with Rs 5.557 billion in the first phase of winding process.

Cotton Profit Law
The Prime Minister Shahbaz Shareef also approved the law for supporting cotton price. The new cotton price will be Rs 8500 per 40 kg of cotton. It would be granted to growers for profitable growth of cotton crop. He said that we need to work on our crop profit to strengthen the economy.
The Finance Ministry also requested the Federal Cabinet to grant Ex-post Facto to 15 bilateral and two multilateral MoUs of security and exchange commission of Pakistan with international institutions.
The cabinet members approved the constitution under the presence of Additional Deputy Commissioner for extradition of citizen Muhammad Waseem. The constitution is approved under the Extradition Act 1972.
The Agreement of extradition of criminals between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia also exists and Muhammad Waseem is wanted by Saudi Government in murder case.
The Federal Cabinet also approved the constitution presented by Pakistan Sikh Gurdwara Parbadhak Committee. According to the recommendation presented by Ministry of Religious Affairs, a new 13 members committee would consist of Sikh Community.

The committee would be responsible for taking care of Gurdwaras, helping Sikh pilgrims and manage over other administrative matters. The meeting also approved the decisions related to Economic Coordination Committee. .
