Sindh government launched first electric bus service in Karachi, this is the first electric bus service in whole Pakistan. The Information Minister of Sindh Sharjeel Inam Memon announced the launching of electric bus service in Karachi saying that the ruling government of Sindh, Pakistan People Party is focused on developing work in Sindh.
Sharjeel Inam tweeted about the news saying that people will be able this electric bus service from today onwards, the starting route of bus will be starting from Tank Chowk Malir Cantt to Clock Tower Roundabout, Sea View Defence using Khyaban e Itehad. He said that this service is also available for airport passengers.

According to report by Sindh Mass Transport authority these buses are pollution free and will not cause any harm to environment. These buses will be fully charged with solar energy and offer low fare with comfortable rides. The information Minister of Sindh told that this is the only initial step for public and we will start this service in whole Karachi.
Development in Sindh
Sharjeel Memon tweeted that Sindh government is focused on progress and prosperity of Sindh people; we are working on many other projects for development of Sindh. Karachi is one of the most economy generator cities of Pakistan and we will provide all the deserving facilities for Karachi people.
In the last month Sindh government also announced the launch of pink taxis for public, especially for women. This scheme helped many females who want to earn money and help their family.

The Information Minister Sharjeel Memon said that in the initial phases, the project is comprise of two parts, blue and pink taxis, pink taxis are for female passengers and special security and monitoring system is installed in these taxis to ensure the security of passengers.
This shift of petrol transportation towards electric services will help Pakistan a lot in economy as well as it will be safe and comfortable for citizens also.
