Winter Intensifies Across Sindh as Karachi Records 11.8°C

The areas of Karachi and the other parts of Sindh province are feeling the pinch of winter as temperatures continue to drop. The minimum temperature was 11.8°C; the maximum expected temperature was 24°C and minimum expected temperature was 10°C in the next 24 hours in the metropolis, said the PMD.

In my opinion inland cities are experiencing even colder conditions with Dadu and Larkana registering as low as 6 to 8 degree Celsius. The weather of Mirpurkhas has even turned out to be the lowest in this region, 7-9°C along with the percentage of humidity at 87%. Thatta and Badin are of moderate condition with the temperature of 11-13°C and humidity.

Chief Meteorologist Sardar Sarfraz had previously forecast gusts for Karachi on December 24 & 25 at 25-35 km/h. The PMD further predicted that there would be no more rain in the next days to come, however, people are urged to protect themselves from the cold weather, especially those with weak immune systems.

Meta Description: Winter is felt in Karachi with temperature reaching as low as 11.8 C while the other interior Sindh cities remain even lower.
