In a move aimed at Providing Relief to Consumers the Utility Stores Corporation (USC) in Pakistan has Recently announced a Reduction in the Prices of Ghee and Cooking Oil. According to a notification issued the Prices of all Brands of Ghee and Cooking oil have been decreased by Rs10 at the Utility Stores.

As a result of this Reduction Consumers will now be able to Purchase Ghee at Rs486 Per kg and Cooking Oil at Rs519 Per Kg. The decision takes immediate Effect, Meaning that the Revised Prices are applicable from now Onwards.

This marks the Second Occasion within a Month where the USC has taken Steps to Lower the Prices of Essential Cooking ingredients. Previously on December 15 the Utility Stores Corporation had Reduced the Prices of Well-known Brands of Ghee and Cooking Oil. At that time the Reduction was more Substantial with Ghee Prices Going down by Rs17 Per Kg and Cooking oil by Rs37 Per Liter. Consequently Consumers enjoyed a Decreased Cost of Rs 482 per Kg for Ghee and Rs 422 to Rs 470 Per liter for Cooking Oil.
