Pakistan and China Partner to Build Lithium Battery Research Centre
Pakistan and China Sign Agreement Establishing Joint Battery Research Centre at UoS
In a positive step for science and renewable energy, the University of Sargodha (UoS) in Pakistan and Zaozhuang School of Technology (ZST) in China have signed a new agreement establishing a joint battery research centre focusing on lithium battery technology. The research centre will be established at the University of Sargodha and will also deal with new forms of energy . Beginning Their Work Together
Both institutions understand how important lithium batteries are to our future, either for electric vehicles or storage for renewable energy. As a result, both have decided to work together on research, training, and innovation in battery-related fields.
What’s Included in the Research Agreement
The agreement presents opportunities for collaboration:
- Exchange of faculty and researchers
- Student training programs
- Joint supervision of research
- Seminars and workshops on battery technology
- The agreement will also advance patents, offer new courses, and workforce skills in this burgeoning area.
Joint Committee for Monitoring Activities
For keeping the effort ongoing, a joint coordination committee will be created with members from both UoS and ZST. The committee will meet once a year to be apprised of the operation and identify potential research opportunities
