On Wednesday during a terrorist hideout raid in North Waziristan Pakistani forces lost two soldiers including a major together with six militants in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.
Security forces encountered fierce combat against militant terrorists during their military operation against Pakistani Taliban fighters within a former Taliban installation. Security forces declared constant support to eliminate terrorist threats while actively seeking out any remaining active militants within this area.
New clashes have exposed the growing deterioration of security conditions throughout Pakistan’s northwest region after Afghanistan’s Taliban seized control in 2021. During this period the TTP launched more attacks across Pakistan because the group maintains strong ties with the Afghan Taliban. Pakistani security forces conduct these operations against TTP fighters repeatedly to demonstrate the ongoing difficulty of securing the border area stability.
