Twitter's New Glitch

Twitter users are facing glitch while reading tweets, the app is not letting users load tweets for mobile apps and desktop users. Various users who are using twitter through different devices have reported the same issue.

People who are using Twitter on mobile are not able to load the tweets while people who are using twitter on the desktop can see a message which says, “This is the best place to see what is happening in your world. Find some people and topics to follow now”.

The message is shown to new users when they first joined Twitter but due to a new glitch, everyone is receiving it. After the downsizing of staff on Twitter, it has been constantly struggling to keep the platform on track and free of glitches.

Twitter’s New Rival

After the launch of Threads, Twitter web traffic was also down by 5% from the previous week. As it is early to admit the reports but Threads do have potential to steal engagements from Twitter.

The app starts to fill in missing features like hastags and topical search. A spokesperson from the website added, “Some of the engagement Threads has enjoyed seems to have been siphoned straight from Twitter”.

Threads, which some consider to be a competitor to Twitter. Elon Musk, the CEO of Twitter, has threatened to sue Meta owner Mark Zuckerberg over allegations of using Twitter’s trade secrets and highly confidential information.

This threat was conveyed in a letter sent by Twitter’s lawyer, Alex Spiro, to Meta’s CEO Mark Zuckerberg. The letter explained that Meta’s new app Threads is a copy of Twitter feature Threads and Twitter is officially warning them of copyright.
