In sad news from Kulachi DI Khan, a tragic incident took place where five cops lost their lives, and two others were injured in a blast near a police vehicle. The incident happened in the Garah Aslam area of Kulachi. They are specially targeting a police vehicle.

Police officials shared that the deceased and injured have been swiftly transported to DI Khan using a helicopter. This incident was heartbreaking just like the blast in Karachi’s Gulshan-e-Iqbal area. in that incident. where three people lost their lives, and two others were injured.

SSP Irfan Bahadur provided details about the Karachi incident, stating that a hand grenade exploded in the hands of 17-year-old Farooq, the son of a police officer. Farooq tragically lost his life as the grenade detonated when he came out of his residence in Haji Limu Goth of Gulshan-e-Iqbal.

In the broader context of security concerns, Chief Election Commissioner Sikandar Sultan Raja has taken notice of recent terror attacks in Balochistan. As a precautionary measure, he directed police chiefs and chief secretaries across all provinces to heighten security levels during the ongoing general elections of 2024.
