The 2023 Yellow River Tourism Overseas Promotion Season has been officially launched in Pakistan by
the China Cultural Center.
This promotion season, which will take place from July to September 2023, is being organized globally
under the guidance of various Chinese government departments, including the Ministry of Culture and
Tourism and the State Administration of Radio and Television, along with the Center for Chinese and Foreign Cultural Exchanges (CCCE) and nine provincial and regional departments of Culture and Tourism.

The Yellow River Tourism Overseas Promotion Season 2023 offers a diverse range of exhibitions and
documentaries, including the documentary series “The Great Yellow River Delta” and “Sing along the
Yellow River,” as well as a Photography Exhibition titled “Explore the Yellow River, Discover Beautiful
China.”
The event also highlights the tourism and cultural resources of nine provinces and regions along the
Yellow River, namely Shanxi, Inner Mongolia, Shandong, Henan, Sichuan, Shaanxi, Gansu, Qinghai, and
Ningxia.
During the promotion season, nine selected routes will be launched, showcasing the various attractions
and scenic spots in each region through which the Yellow River flows.
Rural Tourist Destinations
Additionally, there will be five selected rural tourist routes designed to take visitors deep into the
villages along the river, providing a unique and immersive experience.
The regions along the Yellow River, being the cradle of ancient Chinese civilization, have made
remarkable progress in recent years, focusing on coordinated industrial development, ecological
protection, and the promotion of Yellow River culture.
The main objectives of this event are to present a comprehensive picture of the Yellow River, educate
people about its cultural significance, preserve its cultural heritage, promote cultural exchanges, and
better communicate the history and essence of the Yellow River to the Pakistani audience.

By organizing such a promotion season, China aims to enhance cultural ties between the two nations
and promote understanding and appreciation of the rich cultural heritage along the Yellow River.
