The Pakistan cricket team is gearing up for action and participating at the army fitness camp happening at Kakul. Recently, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) revealed the names of 29 players who are participating in this camp. Some of the very famous players are taking part in it.

Among those making a comeback are all rounder Imad Wasim and fast bowler Mohammad Amir.  who have ended their retirements. Also, batter Usman Khan, known for his stellar performance in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 9, has joined the ranks.

The camp, set to conclude on April 8. This is a joint effort between the Pakistan Cricket Board and the Pakistan Army. Its main concern is to train and get the players ready for upcoming challenges. It will help them in events such as the T20I series against New Zealand, Ireland and England, along with the ICC T20 World Cup in the USA and West Indies.

The focus of the camp is more than physical fitness. it’s also about building teamwork, Mental resilience and Strategic thinking. Experienced trainers and coaches are guiding the players through tough training to make them fitter, more agile and better at playing. so they can perform better and faster.

At this moment the Pakistan team currently lacks a coaching staff. PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi assured that they are working on it, with plans to finalize a coaching panel soon. Naqvi mentioned that both national and international coaches will be part of the setup and the selection process is nearing completion.

With such a Comprehensive training program and the inclusion of experienced players, Pakistan hopes to be in top form for the challenges that lie ahead.
