Pakistan will host the 14th South Asian Games in January 2026 as announced in the Inter-Provincial Coordination Committee meeting on June 2. The Punjab government agreed to host the 14th South Asian Games, which will feature 27 sports. According to the Pakistan Sports Board, Lahore will host most of the events, including football, hockey, cricket, badminton, wrestling, boxing, swimming, and more.
A committee with representation from all federating units of Punjab, Sindh, Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan and Azad Jammu & Kashmir has been constituted. The committee will review everything relating to the budget, security, locations and will submit an entire report in two weeks.
