A disturbing news from Karachi. Womens in Karachi are continuously facing harassment. Recent incidents have shown this distressing issue and how to make sure that streets are safe for womens.  Two separate cases reported in the city, men on motorcycles allegedly molested women, causing outrage among the citizens and it made people worried and raised concerns about the increasing incidents of harassment.

One incident occurred in the Korangi area, where CCTV footage showed a motorcyclist performing obscene actions towards a woman. In another case in Joharabad, two men on a motorcycle stopped two women and molested them. The police have taken action by firing FIRs Complaint against  harassment cases and launching investigations into these incidents.

Not only this, Many incidents happened before. . Last month, a principal of a private school in Karachi’s Saudabad area was arrested for allegedly harassing female students, specifically those in class 10. The prompt response of the police came after the father of one of the victims filed a complaint against the accused principal, named Azam.

Women being bothered and hurt is a big problem because it makes them unsafe. These cases remind us that we need more people to know about it and stronger rules to stop it. Everyone needs to work together to stop these scary acts.

Women should be able to walk around the city without being scared of bad things happening to them. It’s something they should always be able to do, and it’s time for everyone to come together to make sure to create  a safer environment for womens in  Karachi and everywhere else.
