In a concerted effort to address the issue of illegal foreign Nationals residing within its Borders, Pakistan has been actively engaged in a Repatriation Process, ensuring a dignified and safe return for those affected. The most recent Development Reports that 1634 illegal Afghan nationals were repatriated just Yesterday, bringing the total Number to an impressive 435,152 individuals who have Voluntarily Returned to Afghanistan.

This initiative is part of the National Action Plan (NAP), and during a meeting held on October 3, the apex committee chaired by Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaarul Haq Kakar set a Deadline of October 31 for all Foreign Nationals living illegally in Pakistan to leave Voluntarily or face Deportation. The Government is particularly focusing on Facilitating the Repatriation of illegal Afghans through Designated border Points, namely Torkham and Chaman.

Caretaker Interior Minister Sarfraz Ahmed Bugti emphasized the importance of ensuring a humane repatriation process. He made it clear that Prime Minister Anwaarul Haq Kakar has explicitly instructed against any mistreatment of illegal immigrants during the repatriation Process. Bugti, speaking on the Senate floor, assured that the government is Committed to a respectful and organized repatriation effort.

Bugti went further to address Concerns by Stating No Afghan Refugee having legal Documents has been even Touched.
