At age 23 Rao Talha Javed is now Pakistan’s youngest AC
At only 23 years of age, Rao Talha Javed of Lodhran, Pakistan, is the youngest Assistant Commissioner in Pakistan’s history. His remarkable achievement is an encouraging example for countless Pakistani youths who wish to serve their nation through civil services.
Talha Javed started his education journey with Dunyapur Public School, and graduated as a “distinguished” student, before heading to FSc which he completed in 2017. He then moved on to Civil Engineering and graduated with a bachelors in 2021. Talha had a public service inclination and thought about preparation for CSS because of its competitiveness. Talha made a brilliant decision by passing CSS on his first attempt. How amazing!
After passing the CSS exams, Talha went on to continue training as a civil servant through the 51st Common Training Program (CTP). In 2025, Talha started officially working as an Assistant Commissioner in Inland Revenue. The journey from Dunyapur Public School to Assistant Commissioner shows that there is no age limit on success with focus, discipline, and dedication. Talha is now a model for youth hopefuls in Pakistan.
