The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party has said that the Government is involved in sending harmful letters to senior Judges. This accusation Comes after senior judges received Suspicious letters Containing Poisonous Substances.

Five judges from the Supreme Court were the recent targets of these harmful letters. The PTI spokesperson claimed that sending threatening letters to judges is part of a plan by the government to scare them. They believe that the government is doing to stop judges from making fair decisions based on Justice and Law.

The Supreme Court began investigating this issue. There has been a huge number of harmful letters which were sent to different judges. Police are trying to catch the culprit. s The spokesperson mentioned that these Letters are filled with harmful Chemicals and are meant to scare the judges. 

According to the statement,  when judges talked about unfair pressure and meddling in legal matters. It was important to reveal those who are trying to control the justice system for their own gain.

Earlier, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif stated that the federal government will investigate the matter of these suspicious letters received by judges.  He talks about the need to handle this issue responsibly and without political bias.The Prime Minister also mentioned that a commission was previously formed, with the agreement of former Chief Justice Tassaduq Hussain Jillani, to investigate issues raised by judges of the Islamabad High Court. However, Justice Jillani later stepped down from leading the commission.

The Supreme Court has taken suo motu notice of the matter. This shows how serious this matter has become.
