The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has taken a strict action against illegal internet service providers in Sargodha. They take help fromFederal Investigation Agency (FIA). This is a huge move to handle this problem. Two successful raids were conducted in the city which resulted in the arrest of one individual and the seizure of different equipment used by these unauthorized ISPs.
The first raid was carried out in RB Block, Rose Valley Society, while the second took place at Burj-e-Umar Plaza on Mian Khan Road. During these operations, PTA and FIA officials found essential equipment such as switches, routers, laptops and antennas. which were being used by these illegal ISPs to offer internet services without the required license from PTA. These unlicensed entities had been operating in Sargodha and its surrounding areas which was a serious concern.
These actions taken against illegal internet service providers show how dedicated and determined the PTA (Pakistan Telecommunication Authority) is in fighting against unauthorized internet services.
