President Zardari Presents Military Awards to 42 Officers

President Asif Ali Zardari Honored 42 Officers of the Pakistan armed Forces with Military awards during a Special Ceremony held at Aiwan-e-Sadr on Pakistan Day. The Recipients were acknowledged for their Outstanding Contributions to the Defense of the Nation. The event was attended by Senior Officers of the Armed Forces ,Government Officials and the Families of the Awardees.

Among the Distinguished Recipients of the Hilal-i-Imtiaz (Military) were Prominent figures Such as Lt. Gen. Mohsin Muhammad Qureshi, Air Marshal Abdul Moeed Khan and Major Gen. Shoaib Ahmed. These Officers along with others were Recognized for their Exceptional Services in Various Branches of the Armed Forces.

Moreover President Zardari Conferred Sitara-i-Basalat Posthumously upon Captain Abdul Wali Shaheed who Sacrificed his life during a Counter-Terrorism Operation in North Waziristan. His Bravery and Valor were acknowledged with this Prestigious Award Symbolizing the Nation’s Gratitude for his Sacrifice.

The Ceremony held in Commemoration of Pakistan Day Highlighted the Nation’s Deep appreciation for the Dedication and Sacrifices of its Armed forces Personnel. It Served as a moment to Honor their Commitment to Safeguarding the Sovereignty and Security of the Country.
