Petrol Price in Karachi, Islamabad & Top Cities in Pakistan – Today After Latest Update

The federal government of Pakistan has maintained the prices of petrol unchanged in the major cities such as Karachi, Islamabad, Lahore, Faisalabad, etc in the next fortnight beginning January 16, 2026. The motor spirit (petrol) has remained at Rs253.17 per litre with no increase since the previous review and high-speed diesel (HSD) is still 257.08 per litre.

This move is due to the fact that the authorities have decided against further lowering of petrol prices even though there was expectation that the petrol prices would decrease a little after the world oil trends. The final big relief on petrol was at the New Year with the prices reduced by over Rs10 per litre.
