The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is all set to reveal the Asia Cup schedule today in Lahore. The Chairman of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) will announce the schedule of much-awaited Asia Cup 2023.
Earlier, the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) approved the Hybrid model for the Asia Cup, which was presented by Chairman PCB of that time, Najam Sethi.

The Hybrid model was proposed because India was not ready to visit Pakistan due to political and security issues. On the other hand, Pakistan was also not ready to give up on hosting rights of the Asia Cup.
The matter was resolved when Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) proposed the Hybrid model for half matches to be played in Pakistan and remaining matches to be held in any other country.
Schedule of Hybrid model
The Asian event will take place in two phases, the first phase to be held in Pakistan and the other in Sri Lanka. The four matches of evenr will be played in Lahore and Multan with participant countries other than India.
India and Pakistan will play matches in Nepal, and the remaining matches with Afghanistan, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka would also be played in Nepal.
The final schedule of Asia Cup was finalized by PCB Chairman Zaka Ashraf with BCCI Secretary Jay Shah and the President of the Asian Cricket Council along with Chief Executives of ICC.
