Pakistan team arrived in Hyderabad, India, for the much awaited World Cup 2023. This is their first visit to India since 2016. In India they receive a great warm welcome which leaves them feeling truly grateful.
As the Pakistani team touched down in Hyderabad, they were greeted by huge crowds who couldn’t control their excitement and they cheered up the Pakistani team. There was tight security but fans cheered and chanted Babar Azam’s name.they created a lively atmosphere at the airport.
Babar Azam expressed his gratitude by sharing on Instagram, saying, “overwhelmed with the love and support here in Hyderabad ” The team’s star pacer, Shaheen Afridi, also shared his excitement on social media. He described the welcome as “Great welcome thus far!”Mohammad Rizwan was also “amazed” by the warm reception from the fans.

The tournament is set to feature 48 matches played over 46 days at 10 different locations and the final is scheduled for November 19. Pakistan will have two warm up matches. One against New Zealand on September 29 and another against Australia on October 3. Both matches are held in Hyderabad. Due to a large Hindu festival crowd expected on Friday, the first warm-up match will be played behind closed doors based on the advice of local security agencies.

The highlight of Pakistan’s World Cup journey is their clash with arch-rival India, scheduled for October 14 at the over 130,000-seat Ahmedabad Stadium. The India Australia match on October 8 will kick-start India’s campaign, followed by the highly anticipated India-Pakistan showdown.
Visa arrangements for the Pakistan team were finalized just 48 hours before their departure to India, according to reports from both Indian and Pakistani media. There has been no official statement from India regarding visa arrangements for Pakistani fans.
