Pakistan’s Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) announced big news. CAA will bring big changes in the sector. They are appointing new Chief Operating Officers (COOs) at several Airports across the country. This Move shows a bigger restructuring within the Organization following recent changes in Leadership.
The restructuring process began with the appointment of an Acting Director General (DG) of the CAA. This change was prompted by the federal government’s transfer of Khaqan Murtaza, the former DG-CAA, to a new role as chairman of the Employees Old-Age Benefits Institution (EOBI). This new shift has caused more changes in the CAA’s structure and management.
The rotation of COOs at various airports in Pakistan is part of the reorganization effort. Its Main purpose was to bring fresh ideas and new changes that will improve the Performance of Pakistan Airport Operations.
