Pakistan is fast improving in the test bowler rankings, with Noman Ali becoming the ninth best bowler of the time due to his incredible 5-39 and 1-42 spell against West Indies in Multan. Sajid Khan, in addition to Adnan, became much successful in career test ranking when his nine scalps were able to escalate his rank to 23rd from 28th.

The display of the spin trio’s ascend-to-dawn saga was witnessed in Sajid’s career-best rise-a rise that vaulted him to a career-best No. 23 position- a jump of five places with his 9/115 match figures. Abrar Ahmed, the brisk leg-spinner, has also shown a notable improvement on the table as he climbed six ranks up to reach 52nd position. It was a feat: 20 wickets were taken by the Pakistani spinners alone against the West Indies.
Such knock of 84 by Saud Shakeel helped him come back among the top ten, getting into eighth hundred as his captain Masood also climbed to 42 and Rizwan reached a new 17. West Indies’ Jomel Warrican, who managed to secure a maiden 10-wicket Test haul, advanced from a career-best 41st to 55th place in the team rankings.
