Pakistani Mango Festival 2025 Showcases King of Fruits in the UAE
An annual Pakistani Mango Festival at the Le Royal Meridien Hotel in Abu Dhabi was filled with the spirits of diplomats, Emirati dignitaries, businessmen, and community members of the Pakistani diaspora in a spirit of celebration. The event was put together by the Embassy of Pakistan in the UAE and the Overseas Pakistani Foundation (OPF). Dr. Muhammad Farhan, as the chief organizer, welcomed and thanked the support of Ambassador Faisal Niaz Tirmizi. In the keynote address, Ambassador Tirmizi spoke of Pakistan’s international recognition as the 4th largest mango producer, famed for fragrance, smoothness, and diversity. He added that mango exports, which account for over 60% of Pakistan’s exports, mainly go to the Gulf countries.
Showcasing the Best of Pakistani Mangoes
The best varieties of Pakistan mangoes were sighted and served beautifully at the occasion. It was also intended to promote awareness of Pakistani products and set up tentative export avenues. Previously, the embassy participated in the 4th Mango Festival held at Khorfakkan Expo Hall in Sharjah, marking the first time Pakistan officially participated in the Mango Festival. A dedicated Pakistan Pavilion created by the Pakistan Business Council, Sharjah, attracted visitors from various nationalities.
