71 pakistanis honored for bravery national service
In a proud moment for the country, the federal government has approved civil awards for 71 Pakistani citizens. These awards are a means to honour their bravery, dedication, and selfless service to the nation.
The decision came on Thursday during a high-level meeting at the Cabinet Division, chaired by Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, who emphasised the need to honour martyrs and living heroes alike.
“Our martyrs are our pride. Their memories live on and will never be forgotten, while our surviving brave heroes continue to inspire with their courage,” said Naqvi. He added that appreciating individuals in this way shows that the nation has high standards for patriotism and courage.
The meeting consisted of senior officials, including the Special Secretary of the Interior, secretary of the Interior division, secretary of the Cabinet division, Deputy Director General of the Intelligence Bureau. Officials from every province, including Azad Jammu & Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan, also joined the meeting via Zoom.
This measure not only celebrates the courage of our heroes, but will also inspire future generations to serve our nation with that same fervour.
