Young Talent Added to Pakistan Women’s Squad for Ireland Tour
The Pakistan women’s cricket team will commence their international season with a three-match T20I series against Ireland, and the PCB has announced the squad. Fatima Sana will lead the team as captain. A standout moment in the squad announcement is the selection of 22-year-old Eyman Fatima, who has been called up to the senior team for the first time. She performed exceedingly well in May’s National Women’s T20 Tournament in Karachi, and now has an opportunity to showcase her talent on the international stage.
Team Training & Preparation
Players are currently attending a 24-player skills camp at the Hanif Mohammad High Performance Centre in Karachi before departing to Dublin. The camp runs until 27 July and the top 15 players will then undertake a final short pre-tour training session.
