Pakistan are now ready to start the One Day International series against South Africa at Boland Park, Paarl as they unleashed a power-packed squad for the series with key players like Babar Azam included in the squad. The match, which is due to start at 95M Pakistan Time, is the first in a series of three that will take place in South Africa before moving to Cape Town and then Johannesburg.
Pakistani team has also a quality batting line-up with Mohammad Rizwan as their wicket-keeper. Saim Ayub and Abdullah Shafique will be our openers, and Babar Azam will come back in the playing XI at no 3 after he was given a break in Zimbabwe tour. The bowling line-up also appears strong with pace trio of Shaheen Afridi, Naseem Shah and Haris Rauf alongside a spinner in Abrar Ahmed.
