Members of the Pakistani consumer sector must prepare for an upcoming increase in Pakistan petrol prices during the initial two weeks of February. The petroleum market will raise Pakistan petrol prices to Rs 174.85 through an increase of Rs 1.30 per litre while HSD prices may increase by Rs 4.50 per litre elevating the rate to Rs 186.76.
The Pakistan petrol price revision takes place at a time when world oil prices have increased by $2 per barrel during the previous two weeks. Market data indicates a global increase of more than $2.50 for HSD prices per barrel and parallel 50-cent Pakistani petrol price growth per barrel. The premium for petrol is fixed at $8.84 per barrel while HSD continues using its previous premium amount.

Anti-fuel and Light Diesel Oil (LDO) market prices may advance to Rs 164.83 and Rs 156.68 respectively following a Rs 6 and Rs 5 cost surge per litre. The Pakistan petrol prices for March 1 will be determined on January 31 by assessing remaining Platts data as the exchange rate has remained constant.
