Pakistan market timings 2026 have officially changed, with markets and shopping malls across the country now allowed to stay open until 9:00 PM, and restaurants and cafes until 11:00 PM. The Committee approved the decision for Monitoring and Implementation of Austerity Measures, which is an attempt to balance commercial activity and the country’s energy conservation aims.
The decision comes amid Pakistan’s longer summer days and extreme temperatures, which have drastically changed shopping habits in major urban centres. The new schedule is designed to be more consumer-friendly but still allow businesses to continue to engage in economic activity.
Additional Shopping Convenience This Summer

Provincial governments have been asked to ensure the new timings are implemented in consultation with federal authorities.
