Pakistan’s batting lineup has faltered throughout the tour:

The Pakistan cricket team had to pay their third ODI fine in four matches due to their slow pace in completing their match against New Zealand at Seddon Park. During the game against New Zealand Mohammad Rizwan accepted fault in front of referee Jeff Crowe alongside umpires Michael Gough, Wayne Knights, Paul Reiffel, and Chris Brown. Teams that fail to achieve required bowler pace rates during matches under ICC Conduct Standards must pay 5% of player match money per slow over.

Besides their ODI series setback Pakistan continues facing difficulties in New Zealand because they remain behind 0-2 in matches while also losing the T20I series 4-1. The visitors suffered two straight 73-run and 84-run losses in ODIs with their batting showing poor results constantly.

– Captain Rizwan has managed only 35 runs across both ODIs

– Star batter Babar Azam has contributed 79 runs in the series

– Muhammad Abbas leads Pakistan’s scoring with 93 runs
