Pakistan Announces Initial Squad for ICC Champions Trophy 2025

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has released an initial list of 20 cricketers for ICC Champions Trophy 2025 to be played in Pakistan with Pakistan being the defending champions.

Most senior among them is the opener Saim Ayub, who is in London undergoing his treatment after he left the second Test match against South Africa in Cape Town due to injury. 

According to sources, Abdullah Shafique and Usman Khan, the openers, might see a shift and the PCB selection committee is expected to declare the final team on February 10.
