National Universities Celebrate International Day of Education 2025

On the International Day of Education 2025 education leaders from Pakistan convened at National University of Science and Technology (NUST) to study how artificial intelligence interacts with learning. Leaders at the event emphasized that human creativity along with critical thinking skills face growing relevance due to automation trends.

The ConnectEd training program from NUST brought together universities from all around Pakistan including National Skills University and the Institute of Southern Punjab to study how digital tools can boost educational function beyond traditional replacement models.

The gathering focused on this year’s theme, “Artificial Intelligence and Education: AI-infused education came under examination at the “Human Agency in an Automated Educational World” event where representatives between Southern Punjab Institute and Shifa Tameer-e-Millat University along with National Skills University participated. Educational process improvement requires the effective union of Artificial Intelligence technology with human ability rather than the elimination of intellectual processes according to the participants.

Speaking at the closing Dr. Awais Kamboh thanked attendees for showing commitment to creating a technological new world that elevates human potential. The research program pointed out significant requirements for security together with protective strategies to shield education content from AI-generated threats comprising deepfakes and psychological harassment.
