Morocco Awarding Pakistani Students 10 Allied Funded Scholarships
Morocco’s government has announced 10 scholarships fully funded for students from Pakistan for the 2025-26 academic year. The Higher Eduaction Commission of Pakistan made the announcement allowing students to study in some of Morocco’s prestigious higher public institutions in fields of study, such as medicine, engineering, management, veterinary sciences, and architecture.
Undergraduate, master’s and Ph.D. students are eligible to apply for either, as long as they satisfy academic and age criteria.
The deadline for online applications is Thursday, June 12, 2025, at 4:00 PM PST only.
Eligibility criteria:
- You must be a citizen of Pakistan or AJK with no dual nationality permits.
- Undergraduates, must have 12 years of education and be under 23 years of age.
- You must have 16 years of education for the master’s.
- You must have 18 years of education for PhD students.
- You must have taken HAT or USAT tests and have valid results for inclusion in the scholarship.
- Merit will be based on the test results.
Language Requirements:
Teaching at most Moroccan institutions for all scientific and economic subjects is taught in French, therefore upon selection, all students will take a French language course in Pakistan; language is needed only for Arabic and Islamic Studies.
Application Process:
You can apply online by visiting the HEC portal under the Moroccan Govt Scholarship Program. There are no hard copies required at this stage — only a shortlist will be created. Candidates who move onto the shortlist stage will be required to submit further documents including transcripts, motivation letters, medical and police certificates, and an NOC if they are employed.
Important Note:
Candidates for medicine, engineering, or law should check with PMDC, PEC, or PBC for accreditation of their selected programs. PMDC has issued specific guidelines for admissions of foreign medical students, which candidates should familiarize themself with.
