In a Historic Milestone the largest-ever Cargo Ship laden with Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) has recently docked at Qasim International Terminal in Karachi, Pakistan. This Significant event marks the first time in the Country’s History that a vessel Carrying a Staggering 11,000 metric tons of LPG has arrived at the Karachi Port.
The Colossal Cargo Ship Oiginated from the Iraqi city of Basra transporting 5,000 tons of LPG for Private importers and an additional 6,000 tons for Private terminals in Pakistan. The arrival of such a Substantial Quantity of LPG Reflects the Growing Demand for energy resources in the Region.
This achievement follows another Record-breaking moment on September 29 when Karachi’s Port Qasim welcomed the largest-ever cargo vessel measuring an impressive 355 meters. The vessel, named APL LE HARVE and Hailing from Singapore,docked at the terminal of DP World a Private Company. The Unloading Process is Currently underway with the Cargo Ship Carrying import Orders from various Parts of the Country.
After Completing the unloading Process the Cargo vessel is slated to depart for India, Showcasing the Port’s Strategic Role in Facilitating international trade routes.
