In cricket news Inzamam-ul-Haq a well-known figure in Pakistani cricket, has Resigned from his role as the chief selector Responsible for Choosing Players for Pakistan’s Cricket Teams. This Move came after Some People Raised Questions about his Fairness in Picking Players for the National Teams.
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has now officially agreed to his Decision to step down. This means they’ve accepted his Resignation. They will soon announce who will take over his job in Selecting Players for the National men’s and junior teams.
Inzamam-ul-Haq decided to Quit on his own back on October 30, 2023. He did this because he wanted the PCB to look into the concerns raised about his involvement with a Company that Represents cricket Players. People were Worried that this Connection might have affected his Choices when Picking Players for the 2023 World Cup.
To get to the bottom of these Worries the PCB has set up a Special Committee made up of Five People. Their job is to investigate and find out what really Happened. They will then Report their Findings to the PCB Management.
In a recent interview with a news channel, Inzamam-ul-Haq expressed his frustration because he felt the PCB’s Management wasn’t Responding to him or his legal Counsel. He also Mentioned that the head of the PCB talked to the media instead of talking Directly to him.
