Pakistan’s versatile all-rounder Imad Wasim has finally retired from international cricket, an unfortunate retirement that will definitely leave a lot of tears for the sport. Writing from the bottom of his heart, the versatile all-rounder narrated his journey on X and thanked the fans and all those who have given so much to his cricketing journey.
The 35-year-old cricketer who initially represented Bangladesh in the May 2015 has played 55 One Day Internationals and 75 T20 Internationals, in which he scored 1540 runs and took 117 wickets before retiring.
Surprisingly, Wasim retired from Internationals after a comeback in March 2024, after he initially retired in November 2023. Due to his brilliant performance in the PSL 9, people of Pakistan and cricket lovers around the world are requesting him to come back to the Pakistan national team.
One of the achievements of his career has been that he played for Pakistan during the ICC Champions Trophy in 2017 where the team emerged victorious under the captaincy of Sarfaraz Ahmed.
