Pakistan Will Establish 5 New Universities for Education Improvement
Recently, the government of Pakistan unveiled a massive plan to advance education across the country. The government just released funding for new public universities and community colleges as part of the Higher Education Commission’s Vision 2025 plan. The advancement of new public universities and community colleges is part of the attempt to increase access to quality education for remote and rural areas and underserved populations. The government has allocated over Rs 35 billion for this amazing education initiative and to committed to developing the future of Pakistani youth.
- The five new universities will be established in areas of the country, especially remote, less developed areas.
- Around 150 community colleges will offer skills-based training programs to bridge the gap between education and employment.
- The initiative included a smart system for campuses that will be established in Gwadar and Zhob and will be connected with the development and establishment under CPEC.
- These institutions will also focus on initiatives in technology, agriculture, health sciences, and communications to produce a workforce of scaffolding with modern-day needs.
