
In the midst of improving ties between Pakistan and Bangladesh, the Bangladesh High Commissioner in Pakistan has declared plans to start direct flights between the two nations. It is stated that the flights would pass over multiple Indian cities.
In order to promote tourism and connectivity the two nations voiced optimism for the opening of direct flights. The starting time and date of these flights is not yet revealed.
Airplanes that take off from New Delhi and head for Europe or Central Asia do pass through Pakistani territory with permission from the Pakistan government similarly Pakistan will also get permission to fly in Indian airspace.
It is stated that the flight path from Dhaka to Islamabad will cross West Bengal, Jharkhand, Bihar, Lucknow and other Indian towns in Uttar Pradesh, New Delhi, Haryana and Punjab. However, the aeroplane will travel through Rajasthan rather than Punjab if it is travelling from Dhaka to Karachi.
