In a recent operation, the Federal Investigation Agency’s (FIA) Anti Human Trafficking Circle in Lahore arrested four individuals suspected of being involved in human smuggling. The arrested individuals were identified as Mohammad Rehan, Shehbaz Ali, Tayyab Ali, and Shehbaz. Notably, several cases had been registered against Tayyab Ali prior to his arrest.
These arrests took place during operations in different areas, including Sheikhupura, Lahore, and Chiniot. The suspects were accused of duping citizens by promising them employment opportunities abroad and taking millions of rupees in the process.
This is not the first time the FIA Anti-Human Trafficking Circle in Lahore has taken action against those involved in human trafficking. Earlier, two suspects, including a judicial fugitive named Muhammad Shahid, were apprehended. Shahid had been on the run since 2016 and was captured in Shahdara Lahore.
Additionally, Fahad Iqbal was arrested in Sabzazar Lahore by the same Anti-Human Trafficking Circle.
“The police caught some bad people who were doing really scary things. The police are working hard to stop these bad things from happening. The person from the police said that catching these bad people is really important to stop them from tricking others who want to find better jobs in different countries. The arrested people will get in trouble with the law for what they did. This shows that the government really cares about keeping its people safe. It’s like a big warning to anyone thinking about doing bad things like human trafficking you will get in big trouble if you do.
