Elon Musk tested live streaming on Twitter

X, formerly known as Twitter, has recently enhanced its ‘live videos’ feature. During the testing phase, Elon Musk expressed his satisfaction with the improvements, stating that “live videos now work reasonably well.”

In a brief 53-second clip, Musk is seen laughing and enjoying the company of what seems to be members of the development team at X.

According to Musk, posting a live video is now as simple as tapping the button resembling a camera. Twitter already have feature of holding long audio group calls known as spaces now it will be providing new video feature.

Twitter’s Glitch

Twitter users are facing glitch while reading tweets, the app is not letting users load tweets for mobile apps and desktop users. Various users who are using twitter through different devices have reported the same issue.

People who are using Twitter on mobile are not able to load the tweets while people who are using twitter on the desktop can see a message which says, “This is the best place to see what is happening in your world. Find some people and topics to follow now”.

After the launch of Threads, Twitter web traffic was also down by 5% from the previous week. As it is early to admit the reports but Threads do have potential to steal engagements from Twitter.

The app starts to fill in missing features like hashtags and topical search. A spokesperson from the website added, “Some of the engagement Threads has enjoyed seems to have been siphoned straight from Twitter”.
