eight arrested in lahore in exam cheating scandal
Eight people, including two bosses of the exam center and four private supervisors, got caught for helping students cheat in exams. This happened in Lahore. The Education Minister of Punjab, Rana Sikandar Hayat, found out about this and decided to take action. He went to the Government High School in Lahore’s Mozang area to check what was going on.
When the minister and his team went there, they saw students cheating everywhere. The exam supervisors and bosses were not stopping them. The shocking thing is they were helping them instead. They were helping them in cheating . This made the minister angry, so he called the police. The police quickly came to the school.
After looking into the matter, the police arrested eight people including the bosses and supervisors. The minister also ordered that the exam center be closed immediately.
The Education Minister, Rana Sikandar Hayat, took quick action when he heard about cheating in an exam center in Lahore. During the raid, students spoke up about how the bosses and supervisors were helping them in cheating.

Over 500 students talked about how the bosses and supervisors were asking for money to let them cheat in exams. They were demanding 30,000 rupees for cheating and 20,000 rupees for answering multiple choice questions. The supervisors were shamelessly telling students to pay up if they wanted to pass.

Minister Hayat strongly condemned this cheating. He said it was not acceptable in exams. He took action because many people complained about what was happening in the exam center.
The minister warned that those caught cheating would face serious punishment. He said that special teams are keeping an eye on exam centers across the province to stop cheating like this from happening again.
