Apple has officially launched the much-anticipated iPhone 15,
The newest iteration of its flagship product, with exciting new features, upgrades, and a new range of colors.
The biggest change to the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus is the transition to USB-C from its exclusive Lighting charging cable. The change comes after being mandated by EU regulations but the change will be a welcome addition to most users as USB-C will make the device compatible with other accessories as well as make data transfers much faster.
The new iPhone also got a camera upgrade and the Dynamic Island feature. It is priced from $799 for a 128GB standard model and the iPhone 15 Plus from $899 comes standard with a 128GB version.

IPhone 15 now boasts a 2000-nit display. Also part of the visual change to the device is the new color range. The iPhone will now come in pink, yellow, green, blue, and black inside the glass body of the device.

The iPhone has been renowned for its camera and now the new lineup has upgraded the experience. Camera upgrades include a 48-megapixel main camera, 1x and 2x optical zoom options, and improved low-light portrait capabilities as well as focus adjustment after taking a picture. The phone also has a 12-megapixel telephoto lens and improvements to the portrait mode without the need to switch between modes to access the portrait mode.

The iPhone is powered by Apple’s new A16 Bionic chip which is sure to boost the performance of the device with smoother multitasking and enhanced graphics. The phone also has improved battery life.
Apple faces a challenging market in China as the phone maker faces stiff competition from the likes of Huawei and market restrictions it might face as well as price increases that will not help it gain more customers.
