The Afghanistan Cricket Board partners with Abu Dhabi Cricket and Sports Hub for five years making UAE their official international cricket base until 2029. The wide-ranging agreement allows Afghanistan Cricket Board to host training sessions and national matches for all cricket levels plus arrange official international matches.

The alliance between the cricket board and Abu Dhabi Dominoes as important since Afghanistan needs stable facilities for international matches amid political tensions. The ACB joins forces with Abu Dhabi to have a reliable top-level sports facility where they can train cricket players and organize global tournaments. ACB Chief Executive Naseeb Khan considers this partnership as a major turning point that can grow both Afghanistan’s sports triumphs and develop their cricket system.

Matt Boucher from ADCSH explained that the partnership purposes are beyond sports by creating opportunities for cricket players worldwide. When Abu Dhabi signed this agreement it added to their cricket hosting background from past years when they supported Pakistan and Afghanistan teams. This joint agreement gives Afghan cricketers regulated match settings while improving international relationships between nations.
